IPS e.max CAD is an innovative lithium disilicate glass-ceramic for CAD/CAM applications. This unrivalled material combines highly esthetic qualities with exceptional user-friendliness. Unlike other CAD/CAM materials, IPS e.max CAD covers a comprehensive spectrum of indications. A wide range of translucency levels, shades and block sizes offer greater flexibility for challenging clinical situations. Tried-and-tested cementation materials have been specifically designed to complement IPS e.max CAD to provide long lasting and durable restorations.
IPS e.max® CAD is a system of composite glass-ceramic blocks (lithium-disilicate) used for ceramic tooth restorations including veneers, inlays, partial crowns and crowns. Blue in color, IPS e.max CAD is delivered in a precrystallized form that is ideal for milling. Given their high translucency, the IPS e.max CAD HT blocks are ideally suitable for the milling of smaller restorations (e.g., inlays, onlays). Restorations made of HT blocks convince users with their true-to-nature chameleon effect and the exceptional adaptation to the remaining tooth structure.
For the efficient fabrication of full-contour restorations (Monolithic Solutions) with maximum strength and toughness. The Blocks are available in A–D and Bleach shades and can be processed in the CEREC® or inLab® System from Sirona. They are optimally suitable for the monolithic fabrication of inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns and 3-unit bridges. Should esthetic charcterizations be necessary, they can be achieved with the staining or cut-back technique
- Highly esthetic while offering 360 MPa of strength
